historical theology reading group

Part of the beauty of Christianity is that our belief is not limited to our own day and age. Which is to say, it transcends the confines of our own generation, and in doing so often avoids the errors of the present.

Our monthly reading group is an attempt to think about the nature of the Christian faith and practice by being in conversation with authors and thinkers of previous generations. We focus on what might be called the "classics" of our Christian literary heritage.

This group meets on the first Saturday of every month in Pastor Steve's home for coffee, donuts, and a few hours of conversation & discussion. This group is accessible to all who have an interest in reading and thinking together. Previous authors studied include John Calvin, William Greenhill, Willem Teellinck, Thomas Goodwin, and George Swinnock.

Please contact Steve if you'd like more information on joining this group.
